San Jose, CA –David Carroll, 57, is the new Chief Financial Officer for O’Connor Hospital effective Monday, February 1, 2010. O’Connor, a 358-bed, not-for-profit Catholic community hospital, is a member of the Daughters of Charity Health System. Carroll has served in this position on an interim basis since September 8, 2009.

     Carroll, previously a Partner in the Dallas/Fort Worth practice of Tatum, LLC, has more than 32 years of experience that includes senior corporate finance roles at Miami Children’s Hospital, HealthSouth, Middle Tennessee Medical Center and Accretive Health. Most recently, Carroll served as Interim CFO of Genesys Health System, an Ascension Health Ministry located in Grand Blanc, MI. Carroll has proven success and expertise in working with senior management to develop strategic financial plans that improve operating results, resolve issues and produce financial improvements.

            Carroll holds a bachelor degree of Business Administration, Accounting from Texas Tech University.
