Vice President, Supply Chain Management
In his role as Vice President of Supply Chain Management, Mr. Ramirez serves as the lead negotiator in supply chain operations, guiding Daughters of Charity Health System in our efforts to improve quality and reduce costs by leveraging our size, scope of services and strengths. Mr. Ramirez works collaboratively with each DCHS Local Health Ministry Materials Management Department to support and implement negotiated contracts, and he provides strategic advice and shares best practices that improve our supply chain operations.
Prior to his leadership roles with DCHS, from 1997 to 2004 Mr. Ramirez served as Regional Director of Materials Management for Catholic Healthcare West (now Dignity Health), Bay Area Region. In this capacity, Mr. Ramirez was successful in redesigning workflows and increasing operating efficiencies. From 1988 to 1997, Mr. Ramirez was Regional Director of Materials Management for Sutter Health, Peninsula Coastal Region.
