Vice President, Revenue Cycle
As a member of senior leadership, Ms. Caballero will provide strategic direction of the revenue cycle process in coordination with Local Health Ministry CFOs, Patient Access, Health Information Management, Case Management, Patient Financial Services, and Revenue departments.
Ms. Caballero assisted in the formation of the Caritas Business Services (“CBS”) office in March 2002, initially as a consultant with Freed & Associates. Her previous experience includes serving as an I.T. and project management consultant to numerous healthcare organizations, including Stanford Medical Center, UCSF Medical Center, Alta Bates/Summit, Catholic Healthcare West, and DCHS. She also served as a director at El Camino Hospital and California Pacific Medical Center.
During her career, Ms. Caballero has overseen the implementation of several systems including an expected reimbursement system, a charge description master automation tool and a digital imaging system. Additionally, she assisted in the development and implementation of policies and procedures including the DCHS Charity Care and Financial Discount policies.
Ms. Caballero received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Notre Dame de Namur University.
